Soon after the launch of the Vivo V15 Pro in India last month, the company has now launched the Vivo V15 as well. The Vivo V15 is a more affordable version of the Vivo V15 Pro, with several changes in the specifications. However, the Vivo V15 also features the same pop-up mechanism.
Vivo V15: Specifications and Features
The Vivo V15 features a 6.28-inch full HD Plus OLED display 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it has a single variant with 64 GB internal memory. The storage is expandable up to 256 GB using a microSD card.
In terms of optics, it has AI based triple camera set up at the back with a 12 MP primary lens with an f/1.78 aperture and an 8 MP secondary camera with an aperture of/2.2 and a 5MP camera with an f/2.4 lens. There is a pop-up selfie camera of 32MP with an f/2.0 aperture. The pop-up camera is similar to the V15 Pro and the device doesn’t come with face unlock support.

The device runs Android 9 Pie operating system coupled with Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 9 on top. A 4,000 mAh battery powers the device with Vivo’s Dual-Engine Fast Charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V15 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack; whereas the sensors include, an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor.
Vivo V15 Price in India and Availability
The Vivo V15 has been priced at Rs 23,990 for the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage variant and will be available for pre-orders starting Monday, March 25, whereas the actual availability will start from 1st April on both online and offline stores including Vivo India E-Store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, PayTm Mall, Tata Cliq, and all offline channels. The smartphone will be available in Frozen Black, Glamour Red, and Royal Blue color options.
