Vivo V11 Pro Successor Likely to Launch in February with Pop-up Selfie Camera

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is gearing up to launch a new phone next month. As per the report by BGR India, the new phone will be a successor to the Vivo V11 Pro and it will have a pop-up selfie camera. The company launched Vivo NEX last year that comes with a bunch of new features along with the popup selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. According to the latest info, Vivo’s upcoming V series phone also features the popup selfie camera. However, the marketing name of the device is yet to be revealed by the company. Previously, the Vivo India wing Director-Brand Strategy, Nipun Marya, had confirmed that the company would be launching the Vivo V11 Pro successor in the first half of 2019.

According to the sources, this phone will be launched in India next month that is February 2019. Although, the exact information of the phone such as marketing name, launch details, and specifications of the upcoming V series smartphone are unknown at this point. Rumors claim that the successor of V11 Pro would be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000 and the smartphone is likely to available for buyers through both online and offline channels.

To recall, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340x1080p resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and screen to body ratio of 91.27 percent. Under the hood, the Vivo V11 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 artificial intelligence engine (AIE) processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable via microSD card. On Software, the V11 Pro runs Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone comes packed with a 3400mAh battery with dual engine fast charging support. In terms of optics, the V11 Pro includes dual Pixel cameras with a primary sensor of 12MP paired with an aperture of f/1.8 and 1.28-micron pixels and secondary sensor of the 5MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for portrait shots. On the front, the V11 Pro comes with a 25MP camera with an aperture of f/0.2.

Meanwhile, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in February, Vivo is planned to launch the Apex 2019, smartphone with no buttons, no bezels, and no ports. According to some reports, it could be priced at 3,500 yuan (approx. Rs 36,800) in China.
