Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is expected to launch its latest smartphone Vivo S1 in India next month. The specification and design of the Vivo S1 leaked and it matches with recently launched Vivo Z1 Pro, however, unlike Z1 Pro, there is no punch-hole camera on upcoming Vivo S1.
To recall, Vivo S1 was launched in China earlier this year with MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. But the model that is launching in India is somewhat different. As you can see in the leaked images, the Vivo S1 Indian variant will come with a gradient back and triple camera setup. This camera setup is expected to be similar to the 16MP (primary) + 8MP (wide) + 2MP (depth) configuration on the Vivo Z1. There is no fingerprint sensor on the rear side which hints at the in-display fingerprint sensor.
As per the report, the Vivo S1 will sport a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch that will house the 32MP selfie camera. Under the hood, it will be fueled by the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. We can expect the device to sport the at least 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage in the base variant. It is likely to be backed by the 4,500mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging and will run on Android 9 Pie. As reported earlier, the Vivo S1 is likely to launch in India with two different RAM and storage variants. There might be a top-end variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
An earlier report suggested hinted that the Vivo S1 will launch in the Indian market for a price of Rs 20,000 or below.
