Vivo is launching a new budget smartphone next week under Vivo’s T-series. Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the Vivo T1X in India. The new T-series smartphone from Vivo will be unveiled on July 20. The smartphone is confirmed to be sold through Flipkart.

In the meantime, a new leak by India Today Tech revealed the key specifications of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. Reports citing tipster Yogesh Brar claim the Indian variant of the Vivo T1X 4G will be different from the Malaysian version.

As reported by India Today Tech, it will feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD that offers Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate support.

Under the hood, the handset will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that was featured in the T1 44W earlier this year. The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Reports claim that Vivo’s T1X India variant will have a 5000 mAh battery, but will only support 18W fast charging.

The T1X 4G will come with a dual-camera setup on the back that comprises a 50MP primary sensor. According to the report, the phone will not have an ultrawide camera and will instead have a 2MP camera. This 2MP sensor could be used for depth sensing or macro photography.

It will boot Android 12 out of the box with Vivo’s proprietary Funtouch OS 12.1 skin. In terms of pricing, it is expected to be priced under Rs 15,000.
