On October 19, Vivo will launch the new T-series smartphones, the Vivo T1 and the Vivo T1x, in home-country China. Today, the Chinese smartphone brand has announced the launch dates of these two devices on its official Weibo account. Prior to their official unveiling, the tipster Digital Chat Station leaked renders and specifications of both of these upcoming smartphones.
According to the teaser posted by Vivo on Weibo, the company’s upcoming T-series smartphones will feature triple cameras on the rear. Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that one of Vivo’s T-series phones will have a waterdrop notch display and a dual-rear camera setup, while another will sport a punch-hole display and triple rear cameras. The leak reveals that both phones will have a high-refresh-rate LCD display, Snapdragon 778G or Dimensity 900 chipset under the hood, a 64MP primary rear camera, and a 5000mAh battery.
Earlier this month, the company appeared to be testing new smartphones at TENAA and 3C certification authorities. Vivo V2009A was one of the devices to receive the TENAA certification. This smartphone will likely launch in China under the Vivo T1 moniker. Based on the TENAA certification, it should feature a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, a 50MP dual-camera setup, an 8MP front camera, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128 GB/256GB internal storage, and a 4,005mAh rated battery.
According to reports, the Vivo V2115A is going to launch as the Vivo T1x. this handset is expected to have a 6.67-inch FHD+ display, triple-rear camera setup with a 64MP main lens, and an 8MP front camera, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128 GB/256GB internal storage, and a Snapdragon 778G chipset.
