Vivo has officially confirmed that it will be launching its Vivo S9 smartphone in China on March 3. The brand shared a poster on Chinese microblogging website Weibo revealing the launch date to be March 3 at 7:30 PM local time. The company is also expected to unveil the Vivo S9e 5G at the same launch event.
Vivo S9 will be the successor of Vivo S7 which was announced last year. In terms of design, the Vivo S9 will have a similar-looking rear design as the Vivo S7 and retains a triple-camera setup at the back.

As per previously leaked information, the smartphone will be powered by a 4000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. It might flaunt a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset might feature a dual-selfie shooter on the front with a 44MP primary lens and an ultra-wide-angle sensor.
On the rear, the reportedly fitted with a 64-megapixel main camera. It is said to pack 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the handset will boot the latest Android 11 OS with Vivo’s new Origin OS skin.
Vivo S9e 5G Specifications (Expected)
Alongside the Vivo S9e 5G is also expected to feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC and 4,100mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. On the camera front, the phone will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
