The Vivo S9 5G has seen many leaks recently, giving out most of the specifications. While the Chinese brand has not yet announced the launch date for the upcoming series, a launch poster leak has given us a hint on the official launch date. Vivo S9 series will be unveiled in China on March 6.
The leaked poster also confirms that the Vivo S9 5G will feature a 44-megapixel front-facing camera. It is tipped to have a notched screen like the Vivo S7 5G that was launched with a 44-megapixel (main) and 8-megapixel (ultrawide) dual selfie cameras.
The poster also showcases the rear design of the upcoming smartphone rectangle camera module featuring a triple camera system that can be seen on the back panel. Since the machine-translated text reads “S9 series,” it appears that Vivo S9 5G could be accompanied by another phone.
The tipster also said that the Vivo S9 5G will come equipped with the world’s first 6nm chipset. So far, leaks suggested that the device will pack the Dimensity 1100 5G chipset, a 64-megapixel primary camera, and a 90Hz display.
A Vivo phone that appeared on Google Play Console and China’s 3C certification platform could be the Vivo S9 5G. The listings on these platforms revealed that the device will include a Full HD+ display, 12 GB of RAM, Dimensity 1100 chipset, Android 11 OS, around 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
However, it has not been confirmed if the leak is authentic so we’d advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt.
