The Vivo S6 5G was up in rumors from the last few weeks, but now the company has confirmed its existence via a teaser. Vivo has teased the upcoming 5G smartphone by sharing a poster image on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo.
Vivo S6 5G confirmed to launch soon
As per the latest official teaser from Vivo regarding the upcoming smartphone, the Vivo S6 will arrive with support for 5G connectivity. However, the company hasn’t revealed the launch date for the smartphone yet.
So far, the company has just teased the naming of the phone, but nothing else. The specifications and pricing of the phone are yet to be revealed. The phone is expected to support for dual-band 5G connectivity, including SA and NSA. We should know more details in the coming days.

The Vivo S6 5G will be the successor of Vivo S5. To recall, Vivo S5 has launched with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Powering the handset is a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor paired up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of native storage.
Software-wise, it runs Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS on the top. It packs a 4,010mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support. In terms of optics, the handset features a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 48-megapixel lens with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.48 aperture and 2-megapixel for macro with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.
