Vivo is expected to launch its S12 and S12 Pro smartphones in China soon. These smartphones are supposed to succeed Vivo’s S10 series, which was released in July. Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo is also expected to introduce two new Neo series smartphones. Neither brand has announced a specific launch date. Some of the specifications of these smartphones have been leaked in recent months.

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC. These devices appear to be the Vivo V2162A and V2163A smartphones found on the TENAA and 3C certification sites. Like the predecessor Vivo S10 series, the Vivo S12 and S12 Pro smartphones are expected to support up to 44W fast charging.

These smartphones are expected to have a rectangular notch on the front. The notch is expected to include a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The device will also feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor on its triple rear camera setup. The official-looking renders of these devices suggest that Vivo S12 Pro may feature curved edges on both sides of its panel.

It is expected that Vivo’s spin-off brand iQoo will introduce iQoo Neo 5 SE and iQoo Neo 5s under its Neo series. Both these devices are expected to have up to 66W fast charging support. iQoo Neo 5 SE is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 1200 SoC, while iQoo Neo 5s is expected to come with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Past reports suggest that iQoo Neo 5s will pack a triple-camera setup, led by a 48-megapixel IMX598 primary sensor. It is also expected to sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
