Vivo has unveiled its S12 series of smartphones in the Chinese market. The Vivo S12 series includes two devices – the S12 and the S12 Pro. Both the S12 series smartphones pack a MediaTek Dimensity processor, 108MP triple-rear camera setup, and dual-front cameras.

Vivo S12 Pro Specifications
The S12 Pro sports a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2376 × 1080 pixel resolution, a 19.8:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1300nits, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display is also HDR10+ certified.
This smartphone is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 1200 processor from MediaTek coupled with Mali G77 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 11-based OriginOS Ocean skin on top.
There is a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash on the device. The setup includes a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119° field of view, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 50MP front-facing camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105° field of view, and a dual-tone flash on the front.
Powered by a 4,300mAh battery, the device supports 44W fast charging via Type-C charging port. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is also routed through the Type-C port. It measures 159.46 x 73.27 × 7.36mm and weighs 171 grams. It comes with a dual sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS.

The display also has HDR10+ certification. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor built on a 6nm process. Additionally, the device features a Mali G77 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs Android 11 with OriginOS Ocean skin.
It boasts a triple-rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The primary 108MP sensor on the smartphone gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105° field of view, and a 2MP macro sensor. The S12 is powered by a 4,200mAh battery unit with a 44W fast charging capability. A 3.5mm audio jack is also not present on the vanilla S12, similar to the Pro variant.
