Earlier this year, Vivo unveiled its Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro selfie-focused smartphones. It is reported that these models will be replaced by the Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro very soon. The key specifications of the Vivo S12 Pro have been leaked by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. The leak shows that the S12 Pro will have enhanced display, front cameras, and processor as compared to its predecessor.
Vivo S12 Pro specifications (expected)
The Vivo S12 Pro is expected to have an OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a high refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The size of the display is currently unknown. It has been revealed in leaked renders that the S12 Pro will feature a centrally positioned punch-hole and curved edges. There will also be a larger notch to accommodate two selfie cameras.
In case you forgot, the S10 Pro featured a 6.44-inch flat AMOLED screen. It also featured a dual selfie camera setup that included a 44-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
There are rumors that the S12 Pro will come with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens as well as an 8-megapixel superwide lens.
According to the latest leak, the S12 Pro has a triple camera unit with 108-megapixels. The other sensors on the setup are said to include an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor found on the S10 Pro. The smartphone is expected to use OriginOS Ocean UI.
Currently, we don’t know the size of the battery of the Vivo S12 Pro, but we expect it to support 44W fast charging. It has been reported that the device will have Dimensity 1200, instead of the S10 Pro’s Dimensity 1100. The smartphone is expected to cost around 3,000 Yuan (approx. Rs 35,245) in China and is expected to compete with the OPPO Reno7 series and the new Honor 60 series.
