Vivo S1 Set to Go on Sale in India From August 15

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched its newest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo S1, for the Indonesian market recently. Now, Vivo officially confirmed that the Vivo S1 will be launched in the Indian market soon.

As per the officials, the pre-orders for the same will begin from early August and will start shipping the smartphone from August 15. Speaking about the pricing, the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 17,990 whereas the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant will be available for around Rs 20,000.

Vivo S1 Specifications

As for the rest of the specifications, the Vivo S1 features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The phone houses MediaTek Helio P65 12nm octa-core SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM for processing power and multitasking. The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint sensor and has dewdrop notch at the front.

The back of the smartphone has a triple rear camera module that comprises of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.78 aperture, 8-megapixel ultrawide secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera sensor for depth sensing. The dewdrop notch at the front accommodates a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Vivo S1 runs on Android 9 Pie with Vivo’s native FunTouch skin over it. Connectivity options on the handset include support for Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, and a micro USB port.
