Vivo S1 Pro was launched in the Philippines and China earlier this year, and now the company has confirmed the India launch date as well. Vivo has announced that the Vivo S1 Pro will launch in India on January 7. The company should unveil the India pricing and availability details of the Vivo S1 Pro smartphone at the launch event next month.
Vivo S1 Pro India launch set for January 4
Vivo took to Twitter to announce that the company will be bringing the Vivo S1 Pro to India in January. Furthermore, the Amazon India also confirmed that the that it will be one of the e-commerce sites to sell Vivo S1 Pro in India. Considering the huge number of smartphones in the mid-range segment, we’re excited to see how Vivo prices the Vivo S1 Pro phone in India.
Vivo S1 Pro Specifications
Vivo S1 Pro was launched in China with a 6.39-inch super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels full HD+ resolution and 91.64% screen-to-body ratio. Powering the handset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. The smartphone is launched in China in two variants: 6GB RAM + 256GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The internal storage is also expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
The triple camera setup on the rear comprises of a 48 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP units with Super Night Scene mode. On the front, it has a 32 MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity features onboard include a dual SIM setup with 4G VoLTE radios, an FM Radio, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Apart from that, the phone features Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device packs a 3700 mAh battery and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based Funtouch OS 9.0. The device also has a dedicated button on the left side of the phone for its in-house Jovi AI assistant.
