Vivo Nex, which is the company’s ambitious new smartphone, is set for launch in China today at 7:30 pm CST. Vivo Nex is going to be the mass production device of Vivo Apex, which was launched in China as the company’s new top-notch in the initial phase of this year.
The Vivo Nex had made its initial appearance as a concept phone at an event in MWC 2018 and its formal announcement was made earlier this year. The biggest major highlight of the smartphone includes a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, half-screen fingerprinting scanning tech, and an elevating selfie camera.

According to a report, the smartphone’s is going to cost at CNY 3,798 which is roughly Rs. 40,000 in Indian currency for the model of Snapdragon 710 SoC variants, while the premium Snapdragon 845 processor model will be available at CNY 4,498 which is roughly Rs. 47,300 in Indian currency.

Over the past few weeks, the smartphone is in news because of its leaked images and right to its specifications. Even Vivo has released several teaser posters in China, which also reveals some of the details of the smartphone. The listing of Vivo Nex on the official site had hinted that the handsets run on the Android version 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0 and sports 6.59-inch full-High Definition+ (1080×2316 pixels) displays.
Also, it is going to power and supported by the Snapdragon 845 paired with 8GB of RAM, the other variant is equipped with Snapdragon 710 SoC and 6GB of RAM. They come with a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. In the front department, they have a 5-megapixel camera. The Nex is seen to have a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel under the hood. Notably, the smartphone comes with 128GB of inbuilt onboard storage and are will be fueled by 4000mAh battery capacity.
