Vivo set to launch its innovative smartphone Nex S in India on July 19. To recollect the Vivo Nex S was first launched in China alongside the mid-range Vivo Nex A phone last month. This is the Vivo’s first truly bezel-less smartphone with no notch and a pop-up selfie camera featured phone next to the Oppo Find X phone which was launched a day before.
The India price of Nex S has been leaked, courtesy MySmartPrice. The site spotted an Amazon listing, which reveals that the upcoming Vivo flagship might be priced at Rs 48,990. The phone could be called Nex in India, and pre-order on the e-commerce site is expected to begin at 1 PM, July 19. It does not look like Vivo will launch Vivo Nex A for the Indian market at the event. The launch event is scheduled for 12 noon on July 19 in New Delhi.
According to the listing seen in Amazon, The new Nex S is going to be much cheaper than Oppo’s Find X that has come to India only yesterday. The Oppo Find X has been launched in India for a price of Rs 59,999.
The leaked report also claims that Vivo will be launching the Nex S in two variants in India. The base model will come with 128GB of internal storage, while the top-end model will pack a 256GB of storage. The leaked price of Rs 48,990 is supposedly for the 128GB storage model. It could become available in red and black color variants.
Vivo Nex S features a 6.59-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED ultra bezel-less display with a resolution of 2316 x 1080 pixels. The screen has an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. Vivo Nex S has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.24 percent.
Vivo Nex S offers a dual rear camera setup, a combination of 12MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor with four-axis OIS. There’s an 8MP front shooter.
The smartphone runs FunTouchOS 4.0, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Vivo Nex S is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM.
The phone offers two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. It packs a 4,000mAh battery. The NEX S supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.
