Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition Launched with whooping 10GB RAM

The much-awaited premium smartphone Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition from Vivo has launched as expected in China. The smartphone makers are thinking for different solutions to get their smartphones more glaring. The Vivo is always in the first place with its innovative techs in its smartphone. The Second generation of Vivo Nex which wears a completely different design than that of its predecessor has finally launched with a pretty self-explanatory.

The new handset is called the phone Nex Dual Display Edition. The key selling point of the device is the phone has two active displays – one on the front and another one on the back. The dual display tech gets rid of the front camera.

On display, The main display sitting on the front has almost bezel-less design and fits in a 6.39-inch diagonal. It’s a Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and extra tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Vivo claims that the display covers 91.63% of the phone’s front.

The secondary display sports Super AMOLED, which fits smaller size display at 5.49″ in diagonal and uses the old-school 1080 x 1920 resolution with a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor placed at the front for security.

At the heart, The new device boasts a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 10GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage.

For photos, the device is equipped with a triple-camera setup at the back. This setup includes a 12-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization support, 2-megapixel night vision sensor, and the third is a Time of Flight (TOF) 3D camera.

On the back the device sports a lunar ring works as an LED module while taking pictures, and also doubles up as a notification light. On software, the device runs Android Pie-based FunTouch OS.

Pricing

The new Vivo Nex dual display edition launched in China priced at CNY 4,998, which is approximately Rs 52,000 in Indian denomination. And we can speculate that there’s a chance that Vivo could eventually end up bringing it to the Indian market at a similar price as the original NEX has already in Indian market.However,there is no official confirmation from the company yet.
