Vivo appears to be gearing up for the launch of its upcoming flagship series of smartphones, dubbed the Vivo NEX 3S 5G. The smartphone has now appeared on the TENAA certification website, which hints that the launch date might be approaching.
According to the TENAA listing, the Vivo NEX 3S 5G has a design similar to the previous Vivo NEX3. The phone features a triple rear camera setup and LED flash. The volume and power buttons are not visible on the images.
On the specifications front, the Vivo NEX 3S 5G will be the first Snapdragon 865 handset with a waterfall screen. This device also supports 55W pump fast charging. The TENAA listing further confirms that the handset will sport an on-screen fingerprint sensor. It supports dual-5G SA/NSA networks as well as bands 41, 78, and 79.
As per the information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the body size of the NEX 3S 5G is 167.44 × 76.14 × 9.4mm, weighs 219.5 grams, and boasts a 6.89-inch AMOLED screen with 1080 × 2256 pixels resolution.
If the previous reports are anything to go by, the NEX 3S 5G will feature a 16-megapixel motorized pop-up camera. Af the back, the device will flaunt a triple camera setup. The triple camera setup will likely include a 64-megapixel main camera as well as a 13-megapixel telephoto camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide angle camera. It will pack a 4250 mAh battery and will run on the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box.
