Vivo has finally launched its IQOO Gaming smartphone under the new sub-brand. It is the company’s first gaming smartphone that has been launched under new sub-brand. The iQoo Gaming smartphone is launched at China for now and it is going to compete with other gaming phones like the Asus ROG, Xiaomi Black Shark, Razer Phone and others. Vivo iQoo gaming phone features a Snapdragon 855 SoC and it comes equipped with a vapour cooling system.
Vivo iQoo Gaming Smartphone Specifications
The Vivo iQoo Gaming phone features a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options. It features 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that uses Vivo’s Super Flash Charge technology., which is said to make the charging battery faster, p to 50 percent in 15 minutes or fully charge in 45 minutes.
In terms of optics, the iQOO Gaming phone features a triple rear camera where the primary camera is 13-megapixel Sony IMX263 sensor along with a wide-angle lens. There are a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.79 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front is a single 12 MP camera.

Vivo has packed a slew of features on its iQOO Gaming smartphone that will appeal to photography and mobile gaming enthusiasts. It comes with a feature called Multi-turbo. The phone comes with a number of Turbo features like AI Turbo (improves popular app speeds by around 30%), Net Turbo (seamless switch between Wi-Fi and 4G when gaming), Cooling Turbo (the phone comes with super liquid cooling inside), Center Turbo, and Game turbo (prioritizes system resources for smooth gameplay).
It also has Monster Touch shoulder buttons at one of the side panels to provide four-point operations to gamers. Besides this, there is a 4D gaming 2.0+, which gives professional grade haptics and surround sound for immersive gaming.
Vivo iQoo Price and Availability
Coming to the Vivo iQoo price, the device is priced at CNY 2,998 (approx. Rs. 31,700) for the base variant with 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage that has Electric Blue and Lava Orange color options. However, the Vivo iQoo 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant comes at CNY 3,298 (approx. Rs. 34,900) and the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,598 (approx. Rs. 38,100). The most premium variant with massive 12GB RAM/ 256GB internal storage comes with a price tag of CNY 4,298 (approx. Rs. 45,500).
Talking about the Vivo iQOO availability, the smartphone is available for pre-order through its online store in China. The device will go on first flash sale on at 10 am CST (7:30 am IST) on March 6 via TMall. The company is yet to reveal the global availability and price of the Vivo iQoo in other countries.
