Vivo G1 5G specs and price leaked, to launch this month

Vivo is reportedly in the works to launch its Vivo G1 smartphone and the reports claim that the brand will launch this phone this month in China. The company, however, has so far not said anything about it yet. Now, the specifications and pricing details of the Vivo G1 surfaced online.

As per the listing on TENAA, Vivo G1 will run on the latest FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10 OS and carry a 6.44-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch. The phone will feature the in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it gets power from 2.2GHz octa-core processor (said to be Samsung Exynos 980 SoC which features an integrated 5G modem). Unfortunately, the RAM and storage details of the phone are not available.

Camera-wise, the upcoming Vivo G1 could sport a circular quad-camera setup at the back. The cameras are tipped to include a 48-megapixel sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-camera and two 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it could carry a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. Fueling the phone is listed to be a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging. 

Going by the reports, the upcoming Vivo G1 will be priced at a starting 3,000 Yuan (approx. Rs 32,000). There is no information available regarding the Vivo G1 India launch and price. However, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the smartphone in India as of now.
