Upcoming Honor 9X smartphone completely revealed before official launch

Huawei’s online sub-brand Honor as started sending media invites for an upcoming launch event on July 24 which is likely to unveil the Honor 9i which is entitled as Honor 9X in India.

The Chinese company tweeted about the event stating that “The epitome of beauty is coming your way sooner than you think!” The tweet includes a teaser video, which comes with a “#NOORDINARYBEAUTY” hashtag. The phone with dual rear cameras likely to be the highlight. Speaking about the highlights of the Honor 9X smartphone, it will come with mirror finish rear panel and will sport metal frames for solid texture.

The phone is also expected to feature a dedicated beauty mode for selfies. Much like the Honor 9i, the Honor 9X is said to launch in Black, Blue, Green, and Purple colors.

Pricing

To recollect, the Honor 9i was launched in China last month and came at a starting price of CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 15,000). It was launched in 64GB while the 128GB version was priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,000).

Honor 9x (9i) specifications and features

As far as considered, the Honor 9i (Honor 9X) comes with dual-SIM support and features 5.84-inch Full HD+ IPS display.

The handset is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone was launched in China in two storage options – 64GB and 128GB.

For snappers, the Honor 9X can be expected to come with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor on the front. For selfies, It will come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with beauty mode with support for full-HD (1080p) video recording.

The handset is fuelled with 3000mAh battery. The phone packs fingerprint sensor at the back panel and also comes with face unlock. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support apart from other standard options.
