Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo might be gearing for a launch of two new entry-level smartphones soon. Two new mysterious devices with model number Vivo 1901 and Vivo 1902 have made its way to benchmarking site Geekbench. These two new devices might launch under Vivo’s V-series or Y-series.
The Geekbench listing clearly shows the chipset in the Vivo 1901 as MediaTek’s MT6762V/CA. It is an octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz CPU. The device has 2GB of RAM, and it is running on the Android 9.0 Pie. Coming to the benchmark itself, the Vivo 1901 scored 764 points in Single-core test, and 2321 in the Multi-Core test. Considering the Geekbench score, we believe this chipset is MediaTek’s Helio A22 as the score matches with the Geekbench score of the Xiaomi’s Redmi 6A, which is also powered by the same chipset.
Talking about another phone, Vivo 1902, it is likely to employ MT6765V/CB octa-core processor (aka Helio P35) clocked at 2.30GHz. As per the Geekbench, the chipset is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and the phone boots Android 9 Pie. Furthermore, the handset scored 815 points in the single-core test and 2472 points in the multi-core test.
The commercial names of these two devices are unknown for now and Considering the overall specifications, these two smartphones may launch under the Vivo’s V-series or Y-series.
