In-display Fingerprint Scanner
OnePlus features an in-display fingerprint scanner. We’ve already seen in-display fingerprint sensors on other smartphones this year including Vivo X21, Vivo Nex and Vivo V11 Pro. But the company claims that it is the fastest-performing implementation of in-display fingerprint authentication yet. The in-display fingerprint scanner is easy to use, you just press your finger onto the screen and it magically unlocks in less than a second.
Waterdrop Notch
The OnePlus 6T comes with a waterdrop notch we first saw the waterdrop style notch on the Essential Phone. Recently launched mid-range killer RealMe 2 Pro also sports similar notch. OnePlus 6T features a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The slimmer size surely helps to increase the available screen space and free up more of the status bar.
Bigger Battery
OnePlus 6 offers up a 3,300 mAh battery, while the new 6T is upgraded to the massive 3,700 mAh battery, which is 400 mAh bigger than the OnePlus 6 battery. Moreover, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei mentioned in an interview that the removal of the headphone jack will help the company improve battery life.
No Headphone Jack
he OnePlus 6 is one of the best Android flagship phones with a headphone jack, but OnePlus ditches the headphone jack from the OnePlus 6T so we’re forced to buy the company’s proprietary Bullets Wireless. However, the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter will be included in the box, and the Bullets V2 wired headphones will have a USB-C connector.
