ByteDance-owned video-sharing social networking service, TikTok, has launched a flagship smartphone in China with impressive specs on board. The phone has a glass finish on the front and back along with a metal frame on the sides.
Smartisan Nut Pro 3 Specifications
Going by the details available online regarding the Smartisan Nut Pro 3, the handset is fuelled by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The phone flaunts a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a waterdrop notch. Nut 3 Pro is available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
In the camera department, the smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the rear that comprises of a primary 48-megapixel sensor with a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens. The other two sensors include the 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. There is also a 20-megapixel sensor housed inside the tear-drop notch for selfies.
The handset packs a 4,000mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 9 Pie-based Smartisan OS 7.0. This custom OS is heavily customizable and it comes preinstalled with TikTok, or to be accurate, “Douyin”, the local version of TikTok. Users can quickly access the app directly from the lock screen. The phone features a home screen that is quite different than traditional Android. Othe unique features of this phone include a Split-screen mode through a diagonal swipe from the top right corner, Big Bang and a whole host of face filters in the camera app.
