We have seen many people on the internet doing crazy things to buy super premium gadgets, here’s a crazy thing done by a Russian Blogger Svyatoslav Kovalenko to buy an iPhone.
A pranksters group in Russia paid a bathtub full of coins to buy an iPhone XS. Mr.Kovalenko shared the video on his Instagram handle, filling a bathtub full of coins and carrying them to a mall to buy an iPhone. According to a media agency, Mr. Kovalenko filled the tub with 100,000 Russian roubles which is approximately Rs. 1,08,000 (USD 1,500.)
They carried the 350kg coins filled bathtub to an Apple Store located in a mall in Central Moscow.
Here’s the video of that crazy action :
The Apple Store accepted this heavy cash transaction to purchase an iPhone XS 256 GB variant. Another funny part is it took around 2 hours for the store staff to count the coins.
“We decided to do a very global experiment and show who refuses to accept change,” Mr. Kovalenko said. “The more people who watch the video, the more people will understand that change, whether it’s a kopek, whether’s it 10 kopeks, it is also currency.”
