A new smartphone from Tecno has been launched in India called the Tecno Spark 8P. This device is the newest addition to the Spark 8 lineup, which already includes Spark 8, Spark 8T, and Spark 8 Pro smartphones.

To recall, the Tecno Spark 8P was launched in November last year in the Philippines. Now, the device has made its debut in India.

Tecno Spark 8P comes in one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Priced at Rs 10,999, the device will be available for buyers through retail stores in India in Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, Tahiti Gold, and Turquoise Cyan colour options.

Tecno Spark 8P Specifications

Tecno Spark 8P is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. An Helio G85 chipset powers the device alongside 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 3GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage. 

The front of the phone has a dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera. On the rear, there is a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash unit. The camera features include time-lapse, 120fps slow-motion video shooting, and video bokeh.

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. As for the OS, it is the dated Android 11 OS, topped with HiOS 7.6 UI. The IPX2-rated body makes it splash-resistant.

Connectivity features on the device include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro USB port, speakers with DTS surround sound support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
