Tecno Spark 8 has been launched in India in a new variant. Initially, the phone was released in a sole 2GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
A new 3GB + 32GB model has now been introduced for Rs 9,299. The existing 2GB/64GB model currently retails for Rs 7,999.
Tecno Spark 8’s new variant has the same specifications as the existing model except for storage. The phone is available in three color options: Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, and Iris Purple.

Tecno Spark 8 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. Up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage. You can expand the storage using a microSD card.
On the back, it has a dual-camera setup with a quad-LED flash. The device has a 16-megapixel primary sensor, as well as a secondary QVGA camera. There is an 8-megapixel camera on this device for taking selfies and video chatting.
It runs Android 11 (Go edition) and HiOS 7.6. The device gets the juice from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Furthermore, it has a fingerprint scanner on the back and supports face recognition.
Connectivity features include dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4mm in dimensions and weighs 190 grams.
