Tecno Pova 5G will be launched in India on February 8. In December, the brand launched its first 5G phone, Pova 5G in Nigeria with a 120Hz display, triple-rear camera setup, and 18W fast charging.
Tecno Mobile India’s official Twitter account announced the Tecno Pova 5G launch date on Saturday. Furthermore, Tecno has teased that Pova 5G will arrive in India with a Memory Fusion technology that enables the phone’s RAM capacity to be virtually expanded up to 11GB.

Tecno Pova 5G is available in Nigeria for NGN 129,000 (roughly Rs. 23,100) for the sole 8GB RAM/128GB storage version, and it is expected to cost the same in India. The phone is available in three colors: Dazzle Black, Polar Silver, and Power Blue.

Tecno Pova 5G Nigerian variant comes with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display that offers a 1080 x 2460 pixel resolution, 480ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and center-aligned punch-hole cutout.
The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, which is built on a 6nm fabrication process coupled with Mali G68 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 3GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 11-based HiOS skin.
Pova 5G comes with three rear cameras and a quad-LED flash. The setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP camera, and an AI lens. There is also a 12 MP camera with a dual flash for taking selfies and making video calls.
Pova 5G features a 6,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. The phone also has a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07mm.
