A new Tecno smartphone has been unveiled in India, the POVA 2. As its name suggests, it is the successor to Tecno POVA, which was introduced in China last year.

Tecno POVA 2 price in India, availability

In India, the Tecno POVA 2 comes in two storage variants: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage priced at Rs 10,499 and Rs 12,499, respectively. There is a discount of Rs 500 included in the pricing. It will be available to purchase through Amazon India starting from August 5 at 12 AM. The phone comes in black, silver, and blue colors.

Tecno POVA 2 specifications

Tecno POVA 2 sports a 6.9-inch LCD panel display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. 

Under the hood of the POVA 2, you will find the Helio G85 chipset. In addition to 4GB / 6GB RAM, the device is also equipped with 64GB / 128GB storage. You can expand its storage capacity by inserting a microSD card.

It is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a dual-LED flash. In addition to its 48-megapixel main camera, the phone has two 2-megapixel lenses for depth effects and macro shots, as well as an AI lens. Additionally, there is a quad-LED flash on the back of the device.

HiOS 7.6 runs on top of Android 11. There is a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the right edge of the device. Additionally, the phone supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, and 3.5mm headphone jacks.
