New smartphones from the smartphone maker Tecno have been launched under its Camon series in Kenya. The phone comes in two variants – 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB.

Tecno Camon 17 Price, Availability

The Tecno Camon 17 is priced at Ksh 22,799 (roughly Rs 15,750) for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage model, while the price of the 4GB model is yet to be revealed. It will be available in two colors such as Frost Sliver, Deep sea, and Tranquil Green.

The Tecno Camon 17 houses a 6.55 HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 450 nits peak brightness, 90% screen-to-body ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate.

The Tecno Camon 17 packs a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor under the hood. The phone ships with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. It is preinstalled with HiOS 7.6 based Android 11 OS.

For shooting selfies, the Tecno Camon 17 has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera inside the hole-punch cutout. Its rear camera module has triple cameras:  a 48-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor.

The Tecno Camon 17 has a battery of 5,000mAh capacity, which supports 18W charging. The phone is packed with other features like a Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type C.
