In this competitive smartphone industry, several smartphone makers are continuously introducing new phones to meet the needs of different consumers. Japanese technology company Sony has unveiled two new phones, Xperia 1 11 and Xperia 10 II in an online event on Feb. 24. The all-new Sony Xperia 1 11 (pronounced as Xperia One Mark Two) is launched as the company’s first 5G smartphone. Unfortunately, the brand hasn’t disclosed the details regarding the price of Xperia 1 11 and Xperia 10 II smartphones.

Talking about the specs, the new Sony Xperia 1 II flaunts a 6.5-inch (1644x3840pixels) 4K HDR OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with Motion Blur Reduction and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, it packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the Sony Xperia 1 II features a triple-camera setup on the back with a combination of 12-megapixel 1/1.7” Exmor primary lens with Dual PD AF and OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and dual PD AF and a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS, 3x zoom, f/2.4 aperture and there is also a 3D iToF (indirect Time-of-Flight) sensor. Upfront, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
It packs a 4,000mAh battery and it comes with 21W USB-PD fast charging, Qi Wireless charging. The phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack along with stereo front speaker with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, DSEE Ultimate with 2360 Reality Audio and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone runs on Android 10 OS out of the box. It measures 166 x 72 x 7.9 mm and weighs 181 grams.
The phone is fitted with dual front-firing speakers. It is water-resistant with IP65/IP68 certification. Connectivity features on the handset include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
Sony Xperia 10 II Specifications
Coming to the specifications of Sony Xperia 10 II (pronounced as Xperia Ten Mark Two), it sports a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage of Sony Xperia 10 II smartphone can be expanded further via microSD card up to 512GB.
For photography, the Sony Xperia 10 II boasts a triple-camera setup that comprises of the 12-megapixel primary lens with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The handset is fitted with a 3,600mAh battery that supports Adaptive Charging, 18W fast charging. The phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack along with Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, and DSEE HX. The device is also IP65/68 water and dustproof and it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The operating system of the phone is Android 10. It measures 157 x 69 x 8.2 mm and weighs 151 grams.
