You can run, you can hide, but you can’t escape Twitter’s watchful eye. It’s not just the media, now you have the whole world scanning every move of the person or a company. South-korean smartphone maker, Samsung caught off-guard while promoting their Galaxy Note 9 on Twitter. The company handle was tweeting the updates about the Galaxy Note 9 using its competitor iPhone!
Popular tech YouTuber MKBHD spotted this on the tweet which was posted on November 25, that was apparently produced using the Twitter for iPhone app.

The Samsung’s official Nigeria Twitter account is verified by Twitter and the account had more than 2,97,000 followers when it was active.
However, after this incident Samsung has removed the tweet and even took down their Nigerian twitter handle.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time for Samsung’s social media marketing team. Earlier this month also the official Samsung Saudi account made a similar mistake and used an iPhone to promote the Galaxy Note 9. Moreover, yesterday the company caught faking DSLR picture to tout the camera quality of its Samsung A8 Star smartphone.
Samsung has mocked Apple’s notched display and other features on a number of occasions in its ads. As you know, Samsung and Apple companies are the rival smartphone makers from a long, it’s kind of funny how this big company keep on promoting their smartphones using an iPhone which results in them getting trolled on social media.
