Samsung Galaxy Z Flip with 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC Spotted on Geekbench

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, the successor to the Galaxy Fold has now been spotted on Geekbench along with its key specifications. The Galaxy Z Flip is listed with a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold as its first foldable smartphone back in September last year. The smartphone was brought to the Indian market in India with a price of Rs. 1,64,999.

According to a recently spotted Geekbench listing for a device going by the model name SM-F700N, the successor to the Galaxy Fold will pack in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus and will run on Android 10 OS. Having said that, the Geekbench listing also suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip will come with 8GB of RAM. We can presume a 12GB RAM variant as well. In terms of benchmark performance, the device managed a single-core score of 725 points and a multi-core score of 2610 points.

Based on all the leaks that have surfaced online so far, the Galaxy Z Flip will feature a mini display on the outside and clamshell fold. This mini display shows details like time, date, and battery levels. This display is rectangular in shape and comes in alignment with the dual-camera setup on the outside.
