Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 series is set for release in 2022. Samsung’s upcoming tablet design and key specs have leaked online ahead of its launch.
At the moment, no launch date has been announced by Samsung for the Galaxy Tab S8. The design renders of the tablet have been shared by tipster OnLeaks even though the official launch is several months away. The Tab S8 has more or less the same design as its predecessor based on the design renders. It will have slightly thick bezels around the display. The front camera is located in the right bezel when held vertically.
According to OnLeaks, the tablet will have an 11-inch IPS LCD with a 1600 x 2560 resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
A dual-camera setup is found on the back. Within the pill-shaped camera module is a 13MP main sensor alongside a 5MP sensor above the LED flash module. There will be an 8MP front camera on the device.
It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. A large battery of 8000mAh will power the tablet. It supports fast charging of 45W.
There is no information on whether the tab will also support Samsung’s S Pen. It comes preloaded with Android 11 OS-based One UI. The tab will weigh 504 grams and be 6.24mm thick. We expect the tablet to be released in January or February of 2022, and it is expected to be priced at around $842.69 (approximately Rs 63,100).
