The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be released in early 2023. The Galaxy S23 series will include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Recently, the Galaxy S23 US variant and Galaxy S23 Ultra appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ smartphone has also been listed on Geekbench revealing the key specs of the upcoming device.
This appears to be the US variant of the Galaxy S23+ based on the model number (SM-S916U). As per the Geekbench listing, Samsung Galaxy S23+ is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
As shown in the listing, this is an octa-core processor with the codename Kalama coupled with Qualcomm Adreno 740 GPU.
Based on the listing, it appears to have 8GB RAM and runs on Android 13. In the single-core test, the device managed to achieve 1485 points and 4844 points in the multi-core test.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ Specifications (Rumored)
Going by the earlier leaks, the forthcoming Galaxy S23+ will have a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Based on the region, either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or the Exynos 2300 will power the phones.
The back of the phone will have three cameras. The device reportedly has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. It will come equipped with 12MP front cameras for taking selfies.
