Samsung has announced a new variant of its Galaxy S22 Ultra handset in India. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra now comes with a 1TB version. It was previously available in 256GB storage and 512GB storage variants.
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB variant will be available exclusively on the Samsung e-store for Rs 1,34,999. Samsung.com will be hosting a live event on March 28 at 6 PM where you can purchase this variant.
Customers who purchase Samsung’s Galaxy S22 1TB variant during the live sale event can get the Galaxy Watch 4 at Rs 2,999. Moreover, Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series customers will receive an upgrade bonus of Rs 8,000 while other smartphone users will get an upgrade bonus of Rs 5,000 on purchase of Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB edition.
Currently, the Samsung Galaxy S22 12GB/256GB variant and 12GB/512GB variants are available for Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,18,999, respectively. There are three colour options for the phone: Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Burgandy.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first S-series smartphone to include an S Pen integrated into the body, offering 70 percent lower latency than its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that can go down to 1Hz. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ and supports a peak brightness level of 1,750 nits. Additionally, the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s display features updated Wacom technology in order to support the improvements to S Pen functionality including reduced latency. This device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB internal storage.
Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a quad-camera setup that combines a 108-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens, and support for 3x optical zoom alongside a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/4.9 aperture lens and 10x optical zoom. There is a 40-megapixel camera sensor on the front of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with an f/2.2 aperture.
It features 5G, 4G LTE, UWB, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 45W and supports wireless charging at 15W along with Wireless PowerShare for reverse wireless charging. The phone runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1. It measures 163.3×77.9×8.9mm and weighs 229 grams.
