Leaked Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra render shows penta camera setup on the rear

Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the flagship Galaxy S21 series, sometime in January next year. Reliable leakster OnLeaks has shared an alleged render of the upcoming Samsung device. Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has surfaced online, giving us a complete view of the backside of the most premium model in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series.

It is important to take this leak with the proverbial grain of salt. The render leaked by popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) shows the rear camera module has five camera sensors The DVT (Design Validation Test) prototype – essentially the final prototype before mass production – has an additional unknown sensor inside the camera module. Sadly, there are no details about the five sensors yet. 

Interestingly, the previous render of the Galaxy S21 Ultra shared by OnLeaks had a quad rear camera setup with flash support. The updated render shared by the same tipster has five cutouts, with the fifth one having an unknown sensor. 

In a separate post, another reliable tipster Roland Quandt said that part production of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra seems to have begun.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specifications 

Going by the past leaks and rumors, the Galaxy S21 ultra will have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display that offers 2K resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz or 144Hz. The handset might packSnapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 CPU version, depending on the market.

The camera setup on the Galaxy S21 Ultra includes a primary 108-megapixel camera along with other sensors. It is tipped to feature a 40-megapixel camera on the front.

Software-wise, the device will boot Android 10 OS-based One UI 3.0. The phone reportedly packs a massive 5,000mAh battery. Going by the earlier report, the device could be coming with support for 60W or 66W fast charging technology.
