South Korean smartphone maker Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and other devices in an Unpacked event. In the coming weeks, the company will launch a budget 5G flagship smartphone.
There are rumours that the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) will be released around September or October 2021. Samsung accidentally revealed the device in a social media post. There is no word on the official launch date of the device at the moment. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the model number SM-G990E has been tested on the Geekbench website.
With the model number SM-G990B, the Galaxy S21 FE has been spotted on Geekbench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch in the United States and Europe with a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Other markets may receive the phone powered by Exynos 2100.
It comes with 8GB of RAM. Android 11 comes preinstalled on the device. We can expect to see OneUI 3.0 added on top of Android. The octa-core processor has a peak clock speed of 2.91GHz. The handset managed to achieve 1084 points in the single-core test and 3316 in multi-core tests.
The phone has previously been leaked with other details. It will feature a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display that will have a hole-punch cutout on the top-center area. It is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset and has 8GB of RAM. This smartphone’s triple-camera system will include 32MP + 12MP + 8MP sensors.
It will have a 12MP front-facing camera. In addition to the 4,370mAh battery, it will provide 25W fast charging. The device will come with Android 11-based OneUI 3.0 preinstalled. The price of the device is rumoured to be between 700,000 and 800,000 won (approx. Rs 45,846 – Rs 52,395).
