Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite teased on Flipkart, to launch in India on January 23

The most awaited Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has finally got a launch date for India. The company’s new phone will hit the Indian market on January 23. To recall, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone in CES 2020.

Reports and leaks have been teasing the India launch and price of the phone for quite some time. As per a webpage on e-commerce site Flipkart, the handset will be launched in India on January 23. The teaser of the Galaxy S10 Lite appears with tagline ‘Welcome to the Pro-grade camera’ on Flipkart and the teaser confirms that it will be available only on Flipkart alongside Samsung India’s official store. The sale date of the Galaxy S10 Lite in India is yet to be confirmed by the company.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is equipped with a 6.7″ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution and a punch hole in the center corner for the 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear side of the Galaxy S10 Lite features a triple camera setup includes a 48-megapixel main shooter with an f/2.0 lens and Super Steady OIS for stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view plus a 5-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 lens. The handset has a front camera of a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform is present under the hood of the device along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of native storage. The Galaxy S10 Lite ships with Android 10-based One UI. The smartphone comes in two memory configurations – 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. For additional storage, there is a dedicated microSD card slot on the device to increase storage by up to 1TB. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with Super Fast charging support.
