Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Pricing Information Leaked Online Ahead of First Sale

Samsung has launched its new flagships Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e smartphones last month in an event along with its first 5G smartphone — Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. While the other three models are already available for purchase, the 5G variant will be available from next week.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is said to be available in two variants on the memory configuration — 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and a top-end variant having 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The company already said that the smartphone will be available for purchase from 5th April in its home country.

According to the leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage model is said to cost KRW 1,390,000 (approx. Rs.84,632) while the 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM model is priced at KRW 1,550,000 (approx. Rs.94,373). Interestingly, Samsung has partnered with another South Korean giant LG telecom to launch the Galaxy S10 5G in home country.

Coming to the design, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G look is very similar to the Galaxy S10+. However, the main change is this variant comes with 5G support as the name suggests. The company also said users of Galaxy S10 5G “can download a full season of a TV show in minutes, play graphics-rich cloud games with virtually no lag, enjoy enhanced VR and AR experiences and stay in touch with friends and family via real-time 4K video calls”.

Talking about the specifications, it sports 6.7-inch Infinity-O Curved AMOLED Display on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset depending on the region. The device has In-display Ultra-sonic Fingerprint Scanner and packs 4500 mAh battery with 25W Fast Wired Charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and reverse wireless charging support.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be equipped with the triple rear camera setup which include 12 MP (telephoto lens, PDAF, f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 45-degree FOV) + 12 MP (wide-angle lens, Dual Pixel AF, f/1.5-2.4 aperture, OIS, 77-degree FOV) + 16 MP (ultra-wide angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, 123-degree FOV) + 3D Depth Camera with 2x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom, and LED flash. Up front, there will be a 10 MP (Dual Pixel AF, f/1.9 aperture, 80-degree FOV) + 3D Depth Camera.
