Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to get 8GB/512GB variant

| By Shandilya

Samsung’s next addition to its Galaxy Note series is now in the making and if the recent reports are to be believed, the Galaxy Note 9 might come with an 8GB RAM and a 512GB internal storage. However, this is expected to be the top variant of the Note 9 as the base variant is anticipated to feature the original 6GB RAM and 64GB storage offering.

As per a recent tweet by tipster @IceUniverse, Samsung might embed a whopping 512GB of internal storage on its Galaxy Note 9. This memory offering would certainly add a unique aspect to the Samsung device as very limited smartphones and phablets feature this kind of internal storage. The top end variants of both the Apple and Samsung flagships currently feature a 256GB internal storage.

Earlier reports had indicated top-of-the-line specifications for the Galaxy Note 9 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or the Exynos 9810 chipset under the hood, coupled to a 6GB ram at the least. It will come with a 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED display with an 18:5:9 aspect ratio. The device will run Android 8.1 Oreo and might feature a Galaxy S9 like variable aperture dual camera for optics. It will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery.

Samsung had also earlier confirmed that the Galaxy Note 9 is poised to come with a Bixby 2.0, an updated version of Samsung’s own virtual assistant, to deliver an enhanced response time and improved background noise resistance.
