Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series confirmed to launch on August 5

After several leaks surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones, South Korean giant has officially confirmed that the next-generation Galaxy Note flagship series smartphones will get launched on August 5.

Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled at 7:30 PM IST/ 10:00 AM ET on 5th August. To make the launch announcement, the brand has shared a teaser video that also confirms that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will indeed launch in a new Mystic Bronze colorway. One can also see the S-Pen painted in this color in the official teaser video.

Going by the rumors, Samsung is likely to announce the 5G variant of Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Watch 3 in August month.

Galaxy Note 20 Series Specifications (Expected)

As per the leaks, the Galaxy Note 20 series is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset with 5G connectivity. The phones are expected to ship with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of native storage.

Talking about the top-end variant, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it is expected to come with a 6.9-inch WQHD+ (2960 x 1440) AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The other Note 20 series phones are rumored to include a standard Full HD+ 60Hz panel. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is likely to sport quad cameras on the back with the same 108MP primary sensor as the Galaxy S20 Ultra alongside an ultra-wide camera, a periscope camera (minus the 100x Space Zoom feature), and 3D ToF sensor.
