Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series India launch date revealed. The South Korean brand recently announced its latest Note series flagship phones: Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Now, both the smartphones are set to make its debut in India on August 28.

Both the smartphones will be sold exclusively on Amazon India and the e-commerce site has confirmed the launch date August 28. Amazon India also taking the pre-orders for the phones.

To talk about the pricing and launch offers, the latest Galaxy Note20 costs Rs 77999, whereas the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G is priced at Rs 104999 in India. If you are interested in pre-ordering the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra then you will be able to pre-book them on Samsung.com and leading retail stores starting from today.

Upon pre-booking Galaxy Note20, buyers will get benefits worth Rs 7000, while Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G pre-bookers will be eligible to get benefits worth Rs 10000. The benefits can be redeemed on Samsung Shop app on a set of products, including Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watches, Galaxy Tabs, etc.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 specifications

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 flaunts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 60Hz refresh rate, 393PPI, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core Samsung Exynos 990 for the global market and Snapdragon 865+ for the US and China. The processor has coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Unfortunately, there is no support for the MicroSD card.

In terms of optics, it has a triple camera setup on the rear with 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 64MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 3X optical zoom, Space zoom up to 30X, 12MP 120° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 10MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus.

Backed by a 4,300mAh battery, the handset supports 25W fast charging, wireless (WPC and PMA) charging, Wireless PowerShare. You also get an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is also water and dust resistant (IP68) certified, and pack AKG-optimised stereo speakers.

In terms of connectivity, the handset Galaxy Note 20 includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), NFC. It measures 161.6 x 75.2 x 8.3 mm. The phone also comes equipped with an S-Pen stylus that offers a latency of 26 milliseconds.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a 6.9-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 3088 × 1440 pixels pixel resolution, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 496 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1500 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is fuelled by an in-house Exynos 990 processor for the global market and Snapdragon 865+ for the US and China. Paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM the phone comes in two storage variants: 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage which is further expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

In the camera department, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sports a triple camera setup with 108MP primary camera with LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS, Laser AF Sensor, 12MP Periscope lens with f/3.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 5X optical zoom, Super-Resolution Zoom up to 50X, 12MP 120° Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Upfront, it has a 10MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.22-micron pixels, and dual-pixel autofocus.

Further, the handset packs 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, wireless (WPC and PMA) charging, Wireless PowerShare. Software-wise, it ships with Android 10 OS with OneUI skin on top.

Connectivity features on the device are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), NFC. The handset measures 164.8 x 77.2 x 8.1mm and weighs 208 grams.
