Samsung today confirmed the launch of its new Galaxy M62 smartphone in the Malaysian market on March 3. It seems Samsung Galaxy M62 and Galaxy A32 are also heading to India as the support pages of these smartphones are live on the Samsung India website. Samsung Galaxy M62 is listed on the Samsung India website with model number SM-M625F.
Samsung Galaxy M62 Specifications
The Galaxy M62 is said to be the rebranded version of the Galaxy F62 that was announced in the Indian market recently. The Samsung Galaxy M62 will have a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED+ display that will deliver a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the handset will pack a 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset with Mali G76 GPU coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The storage will be further expandable up to 512GB via a micro SD card.
In terms of optics, there will be a quad-camera setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, it is said to house a 32MP camera for selfies.
It is tipped to come equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As far as the battery is concerned, the device reportedly comes with a whopping 7000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It will run on Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 out of the box.
