(Official) Samsung Galaxy M52 5G India launch on September 28

Officially, Samsung has confirmed that it’s Galaxy M52 5G will launch in India on September 28. The launch date was initially announced by Amazon India as September 19, which turns out to be inaccurate.

On its social media accounts, Samsung teased the new Galaxy M52 5G, and it seems that the Galaxy M52 5G will be quite slim as a tweet suggests that the phone is just 7.4 mm thick. The phone will launch on September 28 at 12 noon.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G falls into the mid-range device category. According to a listing from a retailer, the handset will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778 octa-core processor. The processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of onboard storage. This storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

With Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, you’ll get a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The previous renders have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G houses three cameras at the back. We can expect the phone to have a 64-megapixel primary shooter on the back, alongside a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It may also feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Samsung hasn’t stated anything about the camera setup on the device.

It will run Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 skin. Probably the phone will come with a 5000mAh battery since the Galaxy M Series phones are known for their large batteries. Besides 5G, the phone offers 4G with VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm jack, and USB-C. Samsung’s Galaxy M52 5G includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a power button.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M51, the predecessor to the Galaxy M52 5G, for Rs. 25,000. It is predicted that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will cost around Rs. 25,000 in India.
