In the last couple of months, Samsung released two devices from its M-series – the Galaxy M32, and the Galaxy M42 5G. A new M-series smartphone appears to be in the works. Earlier, the Geekbench database revealed the existence of a new handset with model number SM-M526BR. This appears to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M52 5G handset.

Geekbench reveals the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M52 5G phone with model number SM-M526BR. This listing shows a single-core score of 776 points and a multi-core score of 2877 points. It’s also revealed that the SM-M526BR will be equipped with an octa-core processor running at 1.80GHz, motherboard code name ‘lahaina’, and Adreno 642L GPU.

According to these details, the upcoming SM-M526BR will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. Last month, Qualcomm announced its Snapdragon 778G SoC, the first SoC to feature the Adreno 642L GPU on a 6nm fabrication process. In addition to 6GB of RAM, the Samsung M-series phone is expected to run Android 11 with the company’s proprietory OneUI skin.

According to a previous report, Samsung’s Galaxy M52 might be a rebranded version of the Galaxy F52 5G, which was unveiled in China last month. Geekbench, however, suggests that Samsung upgraded the processor. Currently, we know little about the Galaxy M52, but more will be revealed about the device soon.
