There’s no denying that Samsung is working on the Galaxy M40 smartphone- the successor to the Galaxy M30, which is the best-selling smartphone in India. Now ahead of the launch the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench with unusual specs on board.
Samsung is yet to confirm the launch date of the Galaxy M40. But, with the smartphone making it to Geekbench, it clearly indicates that the Galaxy M40 launch is nearing. The GeekBench listing has revealed that the Galaxy M40 will sport 6GB RAM and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. The listing though has also confirmed that the phone will run on custom OneUI which is based on Android 9 Pie operating system.
According to the Geekbench, the Galaxy M40 scored 2350 points in a single-core test. The smartphone recorded 6410 points in the multi-score test.
Meanwhile, from what we know so far, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with a Super AMOLED display. The device has already received Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications which indicates that it is all set for imminent launch.
For the camera, it will have a front-facing camera on the dewdrop notch and triple-rear camera setup. The rear camera setup is likely to include the 16-megapixel sensor, a second 8-megapixel one with a wide-angle lens, and a third 5-megapixel camera complete with a telephoto lens. The handset will be packed with a 5,000mAh battery with quick charging support. As for the pricing details of Galaxy M40, although there is no official word on the same, the device is most likely expected to cost below Rs. 20,000.
