Samsung is preparing to release a new Galaxy M series with three smartphones in January 2019. These three devices will be part of the Galaxy M family, including the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30. The one of the M series smartphones found in Geekbench highlighting some of the key features of the Galaxy M30.
The Geekbench listing shows that this device works with the 2.2 GHz Samsung Exynos 7885 chipset that powered Galaxy A8 (2018) and 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone is listed as model number SM-M305F. According to a previous report, the phone will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage options. Unfortunately, the device is equipped with Android 8.1 Oreo which is disappointing as Android 9 Pie has been rolled out few months back and Samsung also rolled out the Pie update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
Earlier reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 will come with LCD displays and the Galaxy M50 will sport an AMOLED display. The report also reveals that the Galaxy M20 will be the first Samsung phone with a large battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
Popular indian leakster Ishan Agarwal said that the Galaxy M Trio will be arriving in India soon. While he could not provide an exact date of launch, but said the Galaxy M30 will be released after unveiling M10 and M20.
