Samsung Galaxy M21, Galaxy A50s price in India slashed

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has slashed the price of Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A50s that were launched in the country recently. The revised prices of these smartphones are already reflected on the company’s official Indian website.

The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB + 128GB models of the Galaxy M21 were introduced for Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively in India in March. However, due to the GST hike, the prices of the smartphones in India went up, taking the price of 4GB/64GB variant to Rs. 14,222 and 6GB/128GB model to Rs. 16,499. Now, the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128 GB models are priced at 13,199 and Rs. 15,499, respectively. 

The Galaxy A50s came with a pricing of Rs. 22,999 for its 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version while the 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage was priced at Rs. 24,999. Later, because of the GST hike, the prices of 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB variants went up to Rs. 21,070 and Rs. 26,900, respectively. But with the latest price cut, the Galaxy A50s (4GB + 128GB) is listed with revised pricing of Rs. 21,070 whereas the 6GB + 128GB model is listed for Rs. 20,561. 

Samsung Galaxy M21 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy M21 packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The device comes equipped with an Exynos 9611 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. There is also a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10-based OneUI and packs a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

For photography, the phone has triple-camera setup on the rear that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor with 123-degree FoV, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy A50s sports a 6.4-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. Under the hood, it is fuelled by in-house Exynos 9610 SoC. The handset packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging through Type-C. 

In terms of optics, there is a triple camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel sensor for depth sensing. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
