Samsung Galaxy M12 smartphone visits Geekbench

Samsung seems to be working on several new smartphones, including Galaxy M12. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung Galaxy M12 has just visited the popular benchmarking website Geekbench to give us some details about the upcoming smartphone. 

Based on the Geekbench listing, the handset has model number SM-M127F. The Geekbench listing further adds that the Samsung Galaxy M12 is coupled with 3GB of RAM. Moving on, Geekbench says the phone will come with Exynos 850 chipset and it will run on the Android 11 operating system. As for the test results, the device managed to achieve 178 score on single-core and 1025 in multi-core tests.

Previous leaks suggested that the Galaxy M12 could also be unveiled in some markets as Samsung Galaxy F12. Going by the Wi-Fi Alliance listing, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M12 will ship with Android 11 and it will have support for single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Galaxy M12 is tipped to come with a 7,000 mAh battery. It is rumored to feature 6.5-inches/ 6.7-inch Infinity-V display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The right side of the handset will feature the power and volume buttons. At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker grille.

On the rear, the phone reportedly packs a squarish quad-camera setup with an LED flash placed below the camera module. It will have a dual-tone finish and is said to measure 63.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm.

We should wait for more leaks and reports to come to provide more information about this new Galaxy M series smartphone from Samsung.
