Samsung seems to be gearing up to launch yet another smartphone in India under the Galaxy M series. A Samsung device with model numbers SM-M127F/DS, SM-F127G/DS, and SM-M127F/DSN, which was tipped to a Galaxy M12, had recently appeared on Bluetooth SIG, and Wi-Fi Alliance suggests its launch could be right around the corner.
The model number SM-F127G/DS suggests that the device could also be launched in some markets as Samsung Galaxy F12. Coming to the Galaxy M12, the Wi-Fi Alliance listing confirms that the upcoming Samsung phone will run on Android 11 and comes with support for single-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. Unfortunately, nothing is known except for these features.
Till now, there has been no word from Samsung on the launch of the Galaxy M12. So it is unclear when it will come to India. Going by the rumors and renders, the Galaxy M12 will pack a whopping 7,000 mAh battery under the hood. It is tipped to feature a 6.5-inches/ 6.7-inch Infinity-V display. The handset will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The right side of the device will feature the power and volume buttons. At the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker grille.
Coming to the camera of the phone, the Galaxy M12 is tipped to boast a squarish quad-camera setup at the back. The phone will feature a LED flash placed below the camera module and a dual-tone finish. It will measure 63.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm.
Samsung Galaxy M12 is expected to launch in early 2021. As of now, this is pretty much all the intel that we have surrounding the upcoming Galaxy M12.
